Gloria Rodeffer
Assistant ControllerGloria is the Assistant Controller of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, joining the Foundation in June 2024 after working in public accounting and private sector for 20 years. Ms. Rodeffer started her working career with “Big Four” accounting firm, Deloitte, before moving on to government contracting with SAIC in McLean, VA.
Immediately prior to joining the Foundation, Gloria was the Controller at the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC) in Herndon, Virginia, a non-profit, state sponsored organization supporting technology-based innovation and entrepreneurship, while accelerating the creation of new jobs and businesses. For nearly 6 years, Gloria managed all aspects of accounting and financial operations with a hands-on approach.
Gloria is a CPA and her experience includes management of general accounting operations such as payroll, payables, monthly close, financial reporting, annual audit, tax preparation and budgeting. Her strong suit is continual improvement of accounting processes, procedures, and controls, while maintaining compliance with GAAP accounting standards.
