Jennifer Bockman
Dean, College CounselingJennifer Bockman has been an Educational Adviser on the Young Scholars Team for the past 9 years. In this role, she was responsible for providing individual advising and arranging educational opportunities for the foundation’s Young Scholars. She has extensive experience in identifying appropriate course placement, college placement, and helping scholars successfully navigate the high school transition.
Before joining the Foundation, Ms. Bockman was a standardized test developer at the American Institutes for Research. As a test developer, she has experience developing elementary, middle, and high school exams, as well as exams for cognitively disabled students as both a team member and a project leader. She also taught 5th grade through Teach for America in Washington, DC.
Ms. Bockman holds an M.A. in Teaching from American University and a B.A. in American Studies from Yale University.
